Shipping & Delivery
We offer a flat rate shipping cost of $15.00 on all orders via Australia Post Express (signature on receipt) with a delivery timeframe of 1-3 business days for metropolitan areas, however outer regions can incur a longer delivery time.
International shipping is available at an additional fee with a delivery timeframe of 3-10 business days. If you would like any further information on pricing for international orders, please contact our team for assistance.
We understand that it is difficult buying online when you are unable to try for style or colour to suit your desired outcome. We offer 80% refund on the purchase price excluding postage if you are not 100% satisfied with the style or colour. All returns are on clients cost of postage and handling. For example, if your wig cost $100.00 then you will incur a 20% restocking fee, your total refund amount will be $80.00.
To be eligible for a refund the product must be in perfect condition, factory standards, unaltered, unworn, undamaged, and with all tag(s) attached and in original packaging. A restocking fee of 20% applies to all returned items.
Items deemed ineligible for a refund are custom designed pieces, items showing evidence of being tried on or worn on, items with evident smell such as perfumes or cigarette smoke etc, accessories, care products or sale items.
To request a refund customers must notify of the problem and desire to refund within 2 business days of receipt of the order. All refunds must be pre-authorized by Cheveux on Hay and posted within 24 hours of approval. Items must be returned via registered post, we do not accept responsibility for lost items.
Tracking Your Order
All online purchases are sent via Australia Express Post. You will be emailed with an order confirmation and tracking number when your order is complete.
Private Health Insurance
We are registered with all private health insurance providers including HBF, NIB, Medibank Private, HIF and BUPA. This means that you can claim your wig purchase as a medical expense if you are undergoing a treatment that results in hair loss such as chemotherapy or have been medically diagnosed with other hair loss related illnesses. The amount that can be claimed depends on the level of cover with your insurance provider.
Public Health System
For those undergoing treatment in the public health system, we do accept vouchers from all public hospitals. We are also registered with Veterans Affairs.
